Biography
Todd Mercer LEED AP, is a Senior Vice President and Project Executive at Webcor Builders with over 28 years of operational experience in the construction industry. Todd has held roles of increasing responsibility in a variety of positions on a multitude of diverse complex and high-profile design and build projects. Todd leads Strategic Innovation efforts at Webcor, including chair of the Strategic Technology Committee which is responsible for developing and implementing the technology and data strategy for Webcor, reviewing, and enabling emerging technologies as well as managing external strategic partnerships with leading AEC technology companies and start-ups. As a member of Webcor’s Sr Leadership team, Todd holds key roles in the company’s strategic planning efforts in the areas of operational consistency and collaborative delivery. Todd is a member of the Board of Directors for Silicon Valley Ventures & Laboratories (SVVL) and is a member of the Autodesk CxO/Customer Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Project Production Systems Laboratory (P2SL) at the University of California, Berkeley, a member of Stanford’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), a member of the Design Build Institute of American (DBIA) and the Lean Construction Institute (LCI). Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University. Todd is a long-time SF Bay Area resident, where he resides with his wife Julie, and daughters Courtney and Claire, who all enjoy traveling and spending as much time as possible at Lake Tahoe snow skiing, boating, hiking and backpacking.
